Server Connection Failure

Post by Earl_Vencar.:LLS:. » Tue 19 Jul , 2016 9:14 pm

Cannot connect to the server, as of 9:00pm UTC. Restarted the server and changed map, to no effect. Log looks tasty.

I've noticed the webadmin has been funny all day and has been offline in periods, as well. It is online at the moment, despite the connection failure.

EDIT: server is now working with players. HOWEVER - it is not visible on the master server list (logs show an error connecting to the master server), and is shown as being offline on the favourites tab. All we wanted to do was play Hybridbenderace :(

webadmins been funny for me for a while, it'll refresh as expected for a few minutes then just a blank screen, I'll need to manually refresh the browser to get it back.

Deleted those troll posts, because this is a serious thread that I don't want hijacked.

The logs show Karma engine crashing, but only once (actually, unclear exactly why). After restart I can't find anything unusual.

Seems to be alright now. It was a very weird sequence of events.

It could be that multiple admins were taking actions on the Karma crash at once, confusing each others. Logs look like a bit that the server was restarted twice in a rapid succession.

Could be correct there. Doesn't explain why we couldn't connect to the server (index) whilst it was online, but it seems to have corrected itself.
