Nitro Vehicles 8 Patch 14

Changes:
- Derby version of Quantum / Shock scorpion has been removed
- Multifire scorpion has no weblauncher and uses standard quantum
- Removed shielded unarmed scorpion
- Added Atlas (lolcar), two versions: one firing stinger (slow rate, high damage, pushes) and other one firing plasma (high rate, lower damage, no push),
Atlas has rechargeable shield and jumps like Scorpion
- Added trial scorpion, doesn't jump and doesn't charge nitro when not moving
- Solobender (Megafun bender) can jump like scorpion

Changes:
- Quantum scorpions have vampire effect when hitting another driver and not being shielded, repairs / shields reduced from 3 to 2
- Quantum damage to driver increased (Normal: 26 / Derby: 40 - (i.e nominal values 33 and 50))
- Successful hit with Quantum adds 15 nitro
- EMP cost increased from 40 to 50
- Successful hit with EMP will cost no nitro
- Added unarmed scorpion with shield (3 shields for 5s, cost 15 nitro) - versus dragonfly on stadium race
- Multiweapon scorpion: Derby Quantum + EMP + Weblauncher (50% damage penalty), charges nitro on "high" speed
- Nitro charge bar smoothened on the clients

Bugfixes:
- empty vehicles will not toggle air control when in air
- reverted friction hack on wheeled vehicles

Changes:
- TWB has no more twin beam teamkillers
- Quantum / EMP gun rotation is instant
- vehicle gets 4.5 recovery shield after being EMPed (during which it cannot fire)
- EMP fire cost slightly reduced
- added a TWB version against bombers (5 shields, no jump, air control)

- one easter egg vehicle improved

Bugfixes:
- Teamwork benders: Jumpcharge slightly reduced
- Steering netcode reverted, old was working better and new can create pseudorandom behaviour
- Flipped vehicle no longer take supreme damage (Health * Damage Type Vehicle Modifier)
- fixed EMPing flying craft
- fixed weapon not ceasing to fire when being EMPed
- Venom: weapons can be selected with numbers as well
- Venom: turn rate PD controller parameters increased from 600/5000 to 1800/14000
- Raptor/Cicada: no longer base for pawns
- Toilets: trailers removed

Changes:
- Solobender nitro charge penalty increased to 50% (was 40%)
- Merged with ONS version
- Added unarmed scorpions with shield (2 15s shields against bombers)

- ONS support
- Quantum deals fixed damage of 60 to people on foot and the actual vehicles (drivers still get 16 / 26 for Derby variant)
- fixed netcode issue (state variable for steering was integrated on clients)
- vehicle remains shielded if you leave driver position
- added EMP scorpion (at the cost of 45% nitro you can shoot other scorp, which will be EMPed for 6.5 seconds; this firemode deals no damage)

- shield increased from 4s to 5s (15s for derby scorps remains)

- anticamp shock scorp eats 15% nitro charge to fire
- tweaked UI a bit:
-> repair amount is displayed above repair icon
-> shield length is diplayed above shield icon, activated shield has remaining time displayed

- added user vehicle tuning, based per vehicle (Scorpion, HellBender, HybridBender, SPMA):
--> steering (50% - 150%)
--> braking (includes automatic decelleration; 50% - 150%)
--> suspension (getting "more stuck" on ramps vs bouncing on ramps 50% - 150%)

Changes:
- Derby Scorpions: Spawns with nitro precharged, shield count reduced to 3, shield lasts 15 seconds
- Teamwork Benders: "Solobendering" (driving alone) will cause to charge nitro only on 60% rate
- Teamwork Benders: Driver no longer is getting only 50% damage from sky mines if he isn't driving alone (as shield now protects driver fully)

New:
- Cicada and Raptor gets boost function, working on same principle as in normal vehicles

Nitro Vehicles v8

Overall changes:
- tweaked effects (dust & skidding)
- various physics changes (releasing throttle will not cause braking to side, improved stability in skidding)
- new GUI for nitro vehicles (icons made by Socio)
- shielding the vehicle will prevent any damage to the driver and passengers

Scorpions:
- no longer have bigger wheels, air control is reduced by around 30% in all directions
- more controllable in drifting
- their behaviour is bouncier in bigger speeds on ramps

Teamwork benders:
- RearGun with 1 passanger does only 100 damage instead of 200
- If there are only two gunners in the bender (= no Driver), RearGun still does 100 damage and has only 10% knockback

Hybrid benders (new vehicle):
- hybrid bender has no nitro and is overall faster than normal bender
- hybrid benders have air control in driving mode
- pressing nitro key will make it fly, pressing it again back driving; and it charges at slower rate (cost of repair reflect this, hybrid bender can't shield, as you can morph to flying to stabilize yourself)

SPMA:
- projectile lifetime (if not shot as a camera) increased from 2 s to 8 s

- Oveall:
-> Fliping the vehicles should be better

- Scorpions (All):
-> Wheels are 20% larger and lot less harder. This is going to make them bouncy (especially on stairs with low speed) but will result in better handling when driving with high speed and mainly on ramps however will require more careful driving.

- Hellbenders (All):
-> harder wheels

- TeamWork Hellbender & TeamWork Leveler
-> reduced damage from 200 to 100 from the twin beams to another bender if there is just one person in the bender

- Quantum Scorpion; Derby Version:
-> damage to the driver caused by the scorpion is capped to 30; requiring 4 shots to be killed in derby (or 5 with shield pickup)

- Shock Scorpion; Anticamp Version:
-> fixed client & server issue causing the clients not to hear fire sound
-> added a "Derby" version of the above, limiting the driver damage also to 30 (this will be used in a variant of stadium race)

- Unarmed Scorpion
-> also a version with Quatum Scorpion skin
-> primary fire horns the vehicle

- Teamwork Leveler
-> fixed name
-> side gunner fire sound frequency fixed (client & server issue)
-> it's now a little bit slower than normal Hellbender

- Effects
-> Enhanced sound effects
-> Skidding effects from UnWheel

- GUI
-> at your first login; you will be prompted to assign your keys for Nitro Vehicles (and shown the tab)

Nitro Vehicles v5

- added Leveler; the fire rate of shock balls is dependant on peeps in the vehicle (50% (1) - 75% (2) - 100% (3))
- added anticamp shock scorpion:
-> the strength of fire is depending on speed
-> firing cost nitro
-> shielding prevents any damage to scorpion (not driver), thus you can't be pushed, but killed if well aimed
-> charges nitro only if having some speed
- modified derby quantum scorpion:
-> can shield, firing cost nitro
- shield reduces damage also to driver
- penalty for sloping is now calculated based on current gravity
- when releasing nitro, the performance is smoothly reverted to normal (to prevent skidding), however setting nitro to on will instantly consume some little charge
- added KarmaTopSpeedVolume (for mapping)
- fixed nonworking webadmin commands

- added scorpions with UT3 projectile (from EONS Scorpion by Wail of Suicide)

- vehicle's top speed increased cca by 30%
- fixed exiting when Nitro bug
- reduced climbing (extra penalty)
- slightly modified scorpion properties to prevent skidding when braking in speed > 50 MPH
- repair and shield binds are not override the command assigned to them

- ingame menu to bind extra keys
- interaction now sends console command rather than direct calling of the function
- nitro overall performace increased by 10%
- there is special boost bonus when your speed is low (this isn't very realistic, aimed to bring back several tricks with vehicles and reduce tedious parts on slopes)
- shield shader is team color based
- fixed a dependency on TWBv5 in textures
- more fixes to effects (now properly clientside)
- stat command nvwheeldebug should work for passenger and spectator too
- two easter-egg unarmed scorps (special horns and names) :p

Overall:
- no more "climbing" (driving towards hill with same acceleration)
- better behaviour towards skidding
- will boost if you going backwards or staying on a place

- NitroScorpion
- Unarmed NitroScorpion
- Minigun NitroScorpion
- Shock NitroScorpion (in two variants; differs in wheter can shield and repair)
- Plasma NitroScorpion (in two variants; differs in wheter can shield and repair)

Other changes are:
- tweaked the GUI a bit
- possibility to remap / disable the keys for Nitro, Repair, Shield (manually in ini file)
- replacement handled in ini file (see lower)
- shield shields weapons attached to vehicles as well
- nitro effects
- assist message lasts 10s instead of 5
- cannot instantly do two repairs (there is 2 second cooldown period)
- interaction removes itself at the end of the game
