This-
Failed launching ULR Package 'BCoreProV55' version mismatch
Any ideas how to fix this

simply find and delete this file from ut2004/system/ foder

Thanks for that, I deleted the 2 BCorepro55 files and it kept coming back with the same error for other files so I've deleted these-
BallisticProV55 (4 files)
BCoreProV55 (2 files)
BWBPRecolorsPro (3 files)
BWBPOtherPackPro (3 files)
BWBPAirstrikesPro (3 files)
After putting these in the recycle bin I was able to run the game, is this correct?
Will the files rebuild the extensions were .int .u .ucl and a configurations settings file. Seems to be some kind of file corruption is my guess.
What are these files and why are they not needed?

Hi, these files are necessary to play the Ballistic Weapon mode. It's just that they have been updated keeping the same name meaning that yours were older or a different version from the ones on the server.
As you guessed, they are automatically downloaded again if you delete them from your folder. You could extract them from the cache again (what you probably did in the past) but if they are modified server side, you will have the same problem, that's why extracting .u files is not recommended.

.u file will be downloaded to cache, other files are important if only you host own server

Yeah, I'm having the same problem here also. I have removed the suggested files but it still doesn't work. My log shows this

So after deleting the BCoreProV55 file I'm getting this in my log.
Log: Pending connect to '217.71.244.71:8025/DM-Highlander2k14-INV?Name=Nick01?Class=Engine.Pawn?Character=Brock?team=255?GAME=InvasionX_LDG.InvasionX' failed; Downloading package 'BCoreProV55' failed: File size mismatch

Seems to be an ongoing thing, every couple of days I need to delete the files I do the lot and I can start playing. Bit of a faff but I can live with it.
