Double domination vs Domination

Soooo I was wondering which mode do you guys prefer.
I have never seen Double Dom mode being any popular in ut2K4, I have probably never played it online, since nobody plays it.
What do you guys think about it? What is so sucky about his mod? If there was UT99 dom instead Double Dom, would anyone play it?
