did you ever compare minecraft to reality?
i mean... the game should be called Real Life 2.0... with some bugs.
yeah, let's carry 3384 m^3 of stone))
or even better, let's throw some glowing red powder on the floor, it will power our doors and machinery^^

But back to topic:
Given the fact that even "high-end" games such as Crysis 2, Battlefield (and whatever games are out there) are not 100% realistic as well (punch enemy->enemy crashes against the wall at the other end of the map), you can't blame a indie game developers company for failing at some points.
Actually, hencing the fact, that espcially the graphics of Minecraft is a critique on the "close to reality" games, the idea of having the gameplay differ from other games as well comes to mind. This would mean that moyang allows you to carry insane amounts of stone on purpose, which is good. I would hate to have an extreme limitation of inventory such as in Ultima.

Re: Minecraft Realitycheck
oh, come on guys. why so serious?
i just often read mc-discussions ingame about unrealistic features like never extinguishing torches or
instantly growing trees, given they were thrown bonemeal at.
you know... i did... too. it's kinda obvious that a block is equal to 1m^3, but block doesn't sound this heavy))Calypto wrote: I actually once referred to blocks as m^3 before.

If minecraft would be real, diamonds would be worthless. Nuff said.
