LDGPlugin v2.4

The Minecraft server now has it's own fully stable bukkit plugin.
I am still adding features, which will replace some of the plugins we use now.
At the moment LDGPlugin features:


-a minimalistic server announcement function. (replaces PSA)

-logging of every blockchange (break, place(exept lava, water), explosion) in a seperate log (replaces HawkEye)
-->a new log file is created for each day. updated automatically.
-->improved performance
-->it broadcasts a message if someone places tnt (if there's no tnt already placed
nearby(anti-spam))
-->blocklogger and functions based on it are aware of multiple worlds. They are disabled in the Nether and the End

-colored messages ->

Warning
Error
Success


-A FULLY WORKING PROTECTION PLUGIN "Schneeshutz" (replaces WorldGuard)
-->full security against griefing and griefing only!
-->foreigners have no acces to ANYTHING exept trading with villagers, eating, while looking in the air, pressure plates, enderchests, crafting tables and wooden doors.
-->can only be set by admins, BUT
--->the owner can add or remove friends at will.
-->tnt-safe! to enable tnt detonations run '/protection tnt' as owner of that area
-->info-messages!
-->simple to use
--->uses '/corner' command to be selected
-->causes less lag than worldguard! (approx measurements by Bukkit.timings() )

-a RESTOREGRIEF command which restores all blockchanges in a specified area.
--> Specify the area by typing /corner. Deselect area by issuing /deletecorners.
--> afterwards choose source of damage = either a player (his name), explosion (TNT and Creepers) or all (everything).
--> at last choose the day_of_grief. -> MMDD -> "0923" for today. (0923 is today's-log-file-name)
--> Example: to remove all of today's griefing run following command:

-[/size]as well there is a 'stats' command which shows statistics on how many blocks were broken/placed in a specified area(total amount, explosion, players)
-->if you want to run stats on a selected area, use '/corner' to select it, and then run '/corners this DAY(MMDD)'
-->to run stats on the whole map, run '/stats all DAY(MMDD)'
-->this command does not change anything.
-restoregrief and stats can only be run by ops.

-
AntiSwear which replaces a lot of mainstream english-german-dutch swears by '#####' (replaces SwearPot)
-->case sensitive
-->removed gl"ass" and com"pute"er from filter

-
A Private chatroom for Ops, where they can invite Players.
-->commands -> /a /t [NAME] /guest NAME


-Custom sized Portals!!! (partially replaces CustomPortals)
-->build portals of all sizes and shapes!
-->work the same as regular portals
-->max portal size: 200pcs of portal (6 was default)

-a DeathLogger
-logs deaths of players
-->time
-->location
-->inventory
-->enchantments

-
A Backup Thread (replaces MineBackup)
-->pulls a backup between 1 and 2 o'clock in the morning. (UTC +1)
-->produces no measurable lag, because located in a separate thread.
-->deletes backups older than 4 days automaticly.

-stable release. no unexpected errors, even if used uncorrectly!
-LAG FREE
-->measured by Bukkit.timings()
-->average delay < 1s/10 <= some milliseconds approx

next update (not relevant to players):
-custom logging system (replaces CCLogger)

Obviousely... the channelsystem is kinda useless, so i dropped it atm...

Thanks for the heads-up.

In my opinion, and as you said above, the channel system didn't work that well for me either. When you are in a channel, you are isolated from all open chat, plus communication has mostly run through the general chat or the /tell feature.

that useless feature was the biggest of all other ones... nah, nvm. today i'll finish another protection, which will be a lot simpler to handle than worldguard.

now we've got customsize portals. acting just like normal ones... i don't exactly know how teleportation will work with those. so be careful. but the test results were perfect exept for one bug i now won't fix.
