Re: Ballistic Bro Changelogs Discussion
I can try it, but I meant everyone. I only see whines over KS weapons and no praises.
Personally I think some of them are good, but a little too good for the ease of getting 4 and 8 kills.

Sorry, that was a general "you" as in "We can try it."
I've uploaded an adjustment to allow the killstreak system to be disabled and a tweak to the LAW.

Great. When shall we begin?
I dont have anything against the KS system by the way, I know its intentions are only to get the weapons on the server, which are unusable as loadout standard.
I'm just curious how people will react given all the QQ.

So you said most weapons have double hip, which ones have changed and which ones remain unchanged?Azarael wrote:General
Maximum hipfire expansion doubled on most weapons, rate of expansion remains unchanged.
No wonder now why I felt I was missing most shots in close combat, specially with the assault weapons... I thought that I was just playing badly, even with sights I was missing the shots.
I though this was fine, I do not understand the advantage of making so many changes simultaneously basically because you don't know where the effect (possitive or negative) came from. You see, you add new weapons-> see usage-> balance. If all that use it get high scores and a boost in their skill, obviously is OP: LK, Long horn and Mars in this moment and the annoying LAW. If parallel to this you change the hip of most all other weapons, then you do not have a reference point to compare. Also removing the KS simultaneously, which is ok and necessary at the moment, but is another change that gives another effect in the game. I suggest you keep the hipfire and expansion rate as it was, remove LAW for the moment, Keep the KS system as it was, and balance the new weapons first.

Regarding parts in red, that's just you. Hip fire is not related to iron sights.Butcher wrote:So you said most weapons have double hip, which ones have changed and which ones remain unchanged?Azarael wrote:General

Agree, my bad.. must reread before posting... but anyway in close combat, is not so easy nor common for me to use sights.... I was not able to hit anything with the same weapon I always use, in maps I am always having top player position...iRobot wrote:Regarding parts in red, that's just you. Oh the malicious joy, it feels like many people/spammers (who profited from hipfire) have been castrated at once. I hope at least this change will tone down that effortless killing by just spamming a bit, it was just ridiculous before.
