"Nerfed knives, buffed defib shielding by a factor of two." Azarael
That means, its easier ( than it is already) to run away with shield from defibs? Or do u mean anything else?
i first read nerfed defibs...but buffed?

Does that mean 4 hits needed to kill full hp player with x3 or x8? Aren't u afraid it leads some players to spam their knives more than before by clicking more/holding the click?

Re: Ballistic Bro Changelogs Discussion
Now that knives have been dealt with (I assume the change is reliable - I do not know what was changed), the next target should be the Nanoblade.
There should not be any weapon in the game that oneshots people at full health, with the exception on the LAW and maybe a railgun head shot. Getting one-shotted from full HP is just frustrating and does not take any skill for the user to do (Sprint and left click)
Charged melee is arguably fine...as you're not just running forward spamming a button, but I'd still prefer if it didn't one shot.
Defib shield gets a no from me. That's in the top 3 for most confusing change and really nonsensical. Other than the knife users (only 3-4 players whoring it), defibs are still clearly the most used and the shield was fine.

So what's the minus 1000 I keep seeing? Longhorn direct head contact or something?
Where oneshots exist they should definitely be headshots only, imho. And probably KS2 only.

The defibs received a number of misdirected nerfs during the infinite shield days.

..and since those days the shield has been used many a time effectively. If you want it to be such a potent shield, then give it a movement penalty like riot shield.
Riot shield:
-Obscures View
-Slows Movement
-Low damage
-Enemy damage permeates shield
-Doesn't block energy weapons or anything with splash
+Doesn't expire charge
Defib shield:
-Expires charge
+No movement penalty
+No oscured view
+Good damage potential
+Healing potential
+Fully blocks damage
Seeing a lot of -'s on the Riot Shield and a lot of +'s on the Defibs. Buffing the gloves is fucking lunacy.

Re: Ballistic Bro Changelogs Discussion
I agree, I see many players using the defibs as a shield and alt fire as an effective melee which can knock players back and have a chance of killing them, all which the shield can not do.

I would agree here as well given iRobot's description.
