Meh, the obnoxiously noobish Push / Pull concept led to some really cheap kills and big flaws in gameplay flow.

Push/pull is not such a vital concept that it needs to be kept into the game. If you need to control enemy movement, use the MRS-138 tazer for that. It at least allows the enemy to fight back.
