.= could it be that the bullet speed is too low? The Fire rate is ok, is similar to the UAW. FS, as with Viper, when you shoot you need to shoot ahead because the projectile takes some time to arrive to target.
I tried the Cylo FS on village 2 days ago, and I had a noob standing still in the same spot at a short-medium distance, and I aimed correctly, crouched and shoot in single controlled shots in auto mode. I did not impact him once. Then some sniper took me down, most likely because I was crouching still trying to hit him... with any other weapon I would have hit him at least once. He did not even notice that I was shooting at him. D=
It seems to have a random function that stays off the center where the aim is. Most weapons, the first shot impacts where you aim, not the FS. Is kind of frustrating!
If you impact by chance, then you'll do a lot of damage.

Projectile? I thought FS is a hitscan weapon. I was also confused by the bullet traces at first but later I realized that they appear after you hit the target (just like FSSG alt fire).

InstantFires trace at the instant of firing for targets and spawn hit effects at the end location. Then, a tracer emitter is spawned. This emitter is aesthetic only. Watch the expected point of impact. If a hit effect or wall mark appears there, the firemode is an InstantFire.

Yeah, the firestorm is scanhit, though it's pretty well disguised scanhit.
The tracers are very slow, and there's a small delay before the impact effect appears when hitting a surface. But that delay is constant, it's not longer at range and shorter up close, and the hit effect appears instantly when hitting a player.

Tried it again, but awful results.. I was after 2 rounds -9 deaths and 1 kill , with the Cylo FS shotgun. I could not kill a single opponent with primary fire. Then just changed to SRS-900 and made 2 killing sprees and a rampage... Tried the burst+aim and burst + hip. Abeiru is right, you impact this way once at least. But you'll never kill any opponent unless their hp are low. Definitely the weapon is in crappy state...

How do you use SRS900, by the way? This weapon is a mystery to me, I can't kill anyone with it :)
