All that to disable a simple setting? And what about disabling scrolling acceleration?0rang3 wrote:But you can make little script to turn it off. It will take couple minutes to do. Or type 1 line of command in terminal - it's even faster.

Re: critical error
What "all that"? Do you turn on and off acceleration twice a day? You do it once and forget about it. this command is not harder than finding menu and marking checkbox.Calypto wrote:All that to disable a simple setting? And what about disabling scrolling acceleration?
put ur mouse inside small box and glide it slowly from side to side - cursor will travel some set distance. now try same while gliding mouse fast - cursor will travel whole display.ILoveTheNorth wrote:What is mouse acceleration?

Ah ok. But what difference does it make? Even on OS X I'm still one of the best players on the servers, 2nd only to maybe Gizmo, and that's a big maybe.

Hamish, you are overestimating yourself... There is Calum, Fallen, Rhagium, Baby, Greed and many players, who easily will overplay you
Difference is - if you move mouse fast - you will turn more, you can get used to it, but for more precise aiming you need to turn it off. For me, i actually comfortable with both settings.
But its all off topic tho.
