IMPORTANT **Server reworking** IMPORTANT

Post by Deathblade » Sun 10 Jun , 2018 8:07 pm

Hello guys !
I'm happy to see some guys still have fun here ! joinha

We want to rework all the main server, for those who know, we will now work on a virtualization-based system with ProxMox and KVM.
This method will make more easy backups, managment, security, starting or clean old services.

Be advertised, we will start to stop and backup all the services during the next days.

TS3 will be redirected to a temporary server and ldg-gaming.eu will point to a page which show work state.

Hi there,
The boards is now online and fully functional.
I'll start to work on gameservers this sunday, I'm late with this but make a .tar for upload the backup took an ethernity, and I don't talk about untar this on the server...

I wiil take a little time to fix the template, this one isn't definitive, it's just a emergency solution when update broke the old one.

For those who want know, the main objective is security, and the second one is easiest managenent.
We now use the maximum possible security in ssl/tls protocols, and many public acces are now hidden in a subnet where only users who use a vpn can access.

About the shoutbox, Nicam want to put it on the board, because people seem like it.

Sorry for my shitty english, as usual and wait for update :)

Thanks to the hard work of Deathblade and iZumo, the UT2004 servers are back up. You can find them in the server browser under Onslaught or Invasion.

AS/Race (listed under Onslaught):
46.105.62.70:7777

BW #1 (listed under Onslaught):
46.105.62.70:8040

BW #2 (listed under Invasion):
46.105.62.70:8025

Hi all !

You may noticed sometimes you loose connection to gameserver, TS, of forums.

This is the firewall, running on PFSense, who think it's fun to stop routing randomly and without reason. No errors, no logs, it just stops. angry_stare

I'm working hard on it to solve that shit, some disconnections, packetloss, host unreachable may occur these days.

I will post here when I finished.

Sry for unconvenience.

Some guys reported there are some errors when joining the forums. e.g. redirect to app.bio-top.ch

I added a default vhost which return 404 error when user uses bad URL, I think it's now solved.

Let me know if you still have issues !
