I saw this video on a blog where someone explained how awesome is the strafe jump; it's from a mod called Defrag on Quake and it looks like "trial" of Unreal but more speedy:
The last run is particularly impressive (before the "jumping around in the arena").

reminds me of my old ut2k4-gaming times where i used to play trials (especially multidodge^^)
1. you sure its normal speed?
2. the physics-engine differs from the unrealengine pretty much concerning the movement, inertia and momentum.
nevertheless its pretty impressive, you're right
but i wouldn't play it since it would be too monotone for me
