I'm posting here some software you may find useful to use with UT: (The RED links will get you directly to the Download page!)
- TeamSpeak 3: It is the vocal server we currently use to communicate orally. Simply chose the client which corresponds to your OS (32-bit/64-bit).
The software is only available in English or German, but very easy to use . To connect to LDG, click on the "connect" button, chose a nickname and enter thenicam.ch as the address (no password required).- XFire: It is a Instant Messenger which allows you to chat while playing. It works similarly to Steam, but if your game has not been bought on Steam, you can use XFire to communicate and keep in touch with your friends!

- UT Cache Extractor: With this software, you can extract to your hard drive the files you have downloaded when joining any server. It's an executable (you don't need to install anything) that you have to place in your ../UT2004/System directory first. Then double click on the icon to launch it, press validate to remove the obsolete files, select the files you want to extract (each file will be extracted automatically to the good folder) and press extract. Now you should be able to play the maps in the Solo Mode!
