I'd advise you to regularly backup your ini files, so that if something like that or a bug happens (again) you will be able to restore them.
Personally, I had a crash once and all my inis were completely erased :cry: Fortunately I had an old backup somewhere and could partially restore everything...

2 files less than 1mb each is difficult and such a chore?

All you need to do is delete user.ini to restore binds and settings

All you need to do is delete user.ini to restore binds and settings
Understand restore to default settings. Also, you only need to backup the user.ini and ut2004.ini files (where the settings, binds, etc are stored).
