Hmm, added poll to first post. Let's first see what others think.
isn't this directly against the rules???Azarael wrote:Hilarious, but surely time for a merge now. I did the same when I had #2 and #3.
If you have position 2 and 3 you are surely "yourself" in only one.Rules wrote: 5. Be yourself.
5a) Do not use the tag of a clan you are not in.
5b) Do not fake as a member or any other player.
This is no different to Freon (the hanging back and sniping aspect). Everyone partakes in that.Butcher wrote:AM (Arena Master)/TAM (Team Arena Master) is a modification to the Last Man Standing gametype... That is all you need to know...
I know I will suck in this because is not the type of game with my gamestyle... Are the patient ones that are winning here, you need to hide, snipe and sneaky kill... Most of the average players will die in the beginning of each round and then Just see the others kill... Less playtime for noobs, more time for experienced ...
There is no written rule against holding two positions on the ladder. What actually happened was that I was using my second CD-key as a weapon test account and it actually rose to just under my main account, so I deleted the second account.Butcher wrote:isn't this directly against the rules???Azarael wrote:Hilarious, but surely time for a merge now. Anticamp is same for Freon. In TAM you'd go and pick a stealthly position (with sniper) if the map allows it. That's just quite similar in a manner of the round length.iRobot wrote:No, you wouldn't hide, since there is anti camp and hiding gains you nothing.
Yeah but the playerbase of TAM is very different from our playerbase at BW #1. Also the maps I saw on TAM servers didn't allow much hiding, so obviously it wasn't a problem. Or there is a TAM server with maps like Goatswood?Azarael wrote:Let us not forget that TAM, not Freon, is now the dominant competitive gametype of standard UT2004. As iRobot says, people know how TAM works. They don't bother to hide at the end of rounds. It has never been a problem.
