Microsoft release worse products every time with less features. They are the complete opposite of Apple.

I've told you to permaban him

.
Back on topic, I'd suggest to stay away from windows 10 for a while, too many nuisances for the early adopters, included ut2004.

Haven't had problems with my Mac for years. Miles better than Windoze, especially when it comes to after care, serviceability and longevity.

I've managed to resolve all of the above issues by doing the following...
1. Download Unreal Tournament 2004 Patch v3369 [64-Bit Windows], assuming you are running the 64-bit version of Windows 10. Maybe there's a way to get the 32-bit version of UT2004 to work properly on Windows 10 64-bit, but I gave up.
2. Not sure if this is necessary, but you may need to download DirectX 9... I mucked around with so many things, I'm not even sure this is required... but I did download and install it.
3. Under [Engine.Engine] in the ut2004-win64.ini, make sure you have RenderDevice=D3D9Drv.D3D9RenderDevice as your selected driver
3. If you have the same problem I had, you will not be able to change your display resolution from 800x600 in "Settings"
3. To resolve this issue, under [WinDrv.WindowsClient] and [SDLDrv.SDLClient] in your ut2004-win64.ini file, change FullscreenViewportX=to your desired resolution and FullscreenViewportY=to your desired resolution. For example, my desired res settings were FullscreenViewportX=1680
FullscreenViewportY=1050
You won't need to modify MouseLag setting, or anything else. Although I can't adjust my display res setting in "Settings", I never change them , so it's no big deal. The bigger Issue was being able to adjust game brightness/gamma/contrast settings in "Settings", which I can now do. Hope this helps y'all.

AFAIK, the only difference between using the 64-bit and 32-bit .exe has always been in the UT2004.ini (I had some scripts to keep things in step when I was regularly trying both .exe versions).
For the 64-bit .exe, you need:
RenderDevice=D3D9Drv.D3D9RenderDevice
For the 32-bit .exe, you need:
RenderDevice=D3DDrv.D3DRenderDevice
Of course, that determines which .ini section (the [] bit further down the .ini file) is actually used by UT2004 to read/write graphics settings.
