Now I understand why you feel the need to brag and boast in every single phrase. It's a bit sad though.
It would be appreciated if you could eat more food or earn more money to cancel that constant bragging speech.

The "pr0" means that he is considering everyone else than him & the top bests as shit. And the same behaviour is (or at least was) noticed during the time he plays (-s +ed) on the server.

Hence his need to be recognized as #2 and that ranking to be shown to everyone else.

But since it's scientifically proved that it's his brain's fault, he is not responsible.

Must have been some epic farming to go from 7.72 to 8.06 in just days.

That's almost Calypto level bot-farming

LOL

The skill changes more switftly ever since the introduction of the data decay (because the "effiective" amount of samples have changes).

@jam: No you don't understand. If you don't challenge other players on the ladder (and I'm not blaming you for not doing that, I'm merely stating that, there is 0 problem if you don't play in the peak hours), then how do you want to consider yourself to be no #2 on the server? That's pretty much the issue in a nutshell. Example: A 6.XX player (when playing on the peak hours) starts playing in afternoon only and there will be only 3.XX - 4.XX players in the afternoon. Surely his skill will go high into 7.XX - 8.XX and misrepresent his actual skill. Until this is somewhat resolved you will unfortunately have to remain deranked.

The skill system is made primarily for skill balancer, which is nearing initial completion finally. I'm not going beyond simple & efficient solution for this issue, however it does affect reliability in some way. The only thing I can think of right now is to check average skill of the other players you're playing with and set a cap based on that beyond which your skill won't increase in the match.

Can you not just add a weight to the kills. Skill 5.x = 1 kill point. 6.x = 1.2, 7.x = 1.4, 8.x = 1.6, 4.x = 0.8, 3.x = 0.6.

Basically, killing lowskillers doesn't give you much reward.

Let me remind you of a little "fact".

You may remember a player named Aapchen... who was ranked #2 on the BW server...

How long did it take you to realise that he wasn't going to return to your server?

M-O-N-T-H-S.

(Yet, all this time, he was still ranked as if he deserved to be there!)

And now let me shift your focus to the present...

I reached #2 and, within minutes, BAM ---> SEE YA LATER!

Now tell me where the justice is.

I addressed this earlier. The person who makes the kill does not necessarily deserve the credit for it. All this will do is incur rage.

My favoured solution would be to check for the presence of someone in the appropriate skill range on the enemy team. If there's nobody good enough on the enemy team, high skillers should be EFR in that game.
