We're having situations where a loner reaches the objective, only to get spammed on by jealous link shots from above (specific example would be objective 3, where there are no hiding places; but objective 2 also suffers from this).
I would recommend doing some kinda rainbow wall instead. Or maybe some trees there that have collision.

Ok, I don't really mind so long as it's blocked off. If you finish off what you wish to implement at some point, then send it my way and I'll continue the prettification. Perhaps a rainbow wall would work better than the trees, as the map is saturated with them.

I won't be able to do any mapping until tomorrow most likely. So go for your prettification.

Could you not just add a roof?

I am thinking of making a rainbow shack by each of the garages, yes, although changing the actual garage to a rainbow theme might be a bit much. I'll experiment around.

Side thought.. Since no one has jumped up to help with the brightness of the rainbow texture.. I have a thought.. instead of making the whole static mesh that we are using. Maybe we can change just one part of the track to rainbow like the center piece only. No idea how that would look but when I get a chance to mess around we can try it out.

Like a go faster stripe?

Well I was persuaded that Izumo had done something on ScorpionCoaster to make a no kill zone/neutral zone, and I'm sure we had talked about it. However it's up to you to find the most convenient solution, I'm just throwing ideas there

But it would be nice if we could avoid the spam you get once out of the base, and I've experienced that: If I'm not in the first ones to get out of the base, I make 10 meters before dying from quantum spam.

That is what I'm thinking. But I am going to have to mess around and see what looks best. Worst case scenario track just stays as is.

Well the way I am able to fix this by editing map is fixing the spawn area to be no kill zone. However the moment you leave spawn zone your subject to quantum spam. So.. with that said there is nothing I can do by editing map to completely fix the problem other then to change out quantum scorps with a different vehicle. However the map needs a 1 seat vehicle and there is no other 1 seat vehicle that would work in this map that would be more balanced. So I recommend to grab an atlas with a gunner and just shoot the spamming scorpions off the track.

Elfy, I believe I may have fixed the track glare/brightness problem. As we've set all the decor to special lighting with the sun, I considered lowering the brightness of the map down from 100 to 20. So it used to look like this:
And it now looks like this:
Any better? It's the best my knowledge of the editor could devise. At least now you can see the whole rainbow spectrum, and not just the yellow, blue and purple. There's even a bit of green ... Anyway, I'll finish up the other changes I wished to do (rainbow walls blocking trigger spam, maybe a few trees and mushrooms to cover the bare ground) and send it your way.
