I have successfully lead this thread into a pointless direction.. My mission is complete.(I see your point and understand just fyi)
But to get back on topic. I voted to have skill system not shown. Which I'm pretty sure will end up winning this vote hands down.
When it comes to race/assault its more about team play vs kill count. Granted I think there was some kinda x points given for winning a round/game. This is just one of those gametypes that a skill system ladder just isn't really needed.
Its a good idea yes and it works with many game types. Most that play this gametype could careless. I'm all for competitive match of a decent as map. But i don't see a need to have a ladder to see who can successfully game the rank system the best. I rather people play as a team member in the mission to complete the objective as fast as possible/hold off the enemy from completing an objective for as long as possible. Most of the time for those in the top 10 in the ladder.. thats the least of there worries.
