I haven't seen a map big enough on invasion to be able to use the big minimum distance options, consequently out of the 9 or so options, there are like 3 that are usable.

Interesting decision - it may change the match/round dynamic quite a bit. It does sound like a fair attempt at a solution to those issues and is better for being more 'realistic' imho. It should force some strategy changes, but is certain to cause an initial whine surge.

If it's implemented, I can imagine that overtime may become more common and perhaps the health drain at that point would need speeding up a touch.

Invasion maps are usually gigantic. If target painter's minimal distance is too high for them then I wonder what it is for. ONS-RedPlanet?

I hope i got it correct but i would make jumppads and telepors for both teams available. If you place it u got a risk its useable for others also.

Am I right in hearing that the load out is locked during each round. Does this also mean that you can still change ur loadout during a round but doesn't apply till the new round. Also, how do u get around the fact of "random weapons" in the loadout?

This does actually contribute towards team play since now there could be a deployable ammo bag that other players can use, even if this is a function of the battle wrench, wink wink :P

If you're using random weapons you'll have the same ones as when you died.

You'll need to be able to change it during practice of course, there's not always enough time after map voting finishes to get your preferred loadout selected.
