Could you not create a second texture that just incorporates the wooden segment?
Was thinking the same thing while I was doing it. If everyone is happy with the new texture ill go back and do some design tweaks and make change permanent and refined. This will be changing the landing zone, half pipe and tube tunnels to just wood with no rainbow.

In an effort to increase the FPS of the map I've increased the fog density substantially and deleted a few of the trees (all of them needless, as they were either hidden in a corner or were the repetitive green colour). Also altered the barrier layout on the way to objective 2.

Change Log(5/13/14):
-tree's have been reduced to just 1 static mesh instead of 12 different trees(cut down amount of files to load)
-Reduced even more trees
-Finished the world surrounding. Rock walls circle the whole area now. Along with this the green hills have been moved and some more added to cover the whole area.
-Fog increased a bit.
*Current frame rate on my machine is very good*

Change Log (12/10/2014):
-New theme: Christmas (After December I'll modify it to just a night snow map)
-Track meshes completely redone
-Added Unreal Xmas tree and presents by: Aberiu.


Haven't tested it out that much.. So if there is any frame rate drops in certain area's please let me know and I'll see what I can do to reduce and optimize.

I don't know for the frame drops because i have a good graphic card, but the objective 2 is unfinishable as the ground is not solid in the obj area and cars fall through after riding the halfpipe and trying to land. I tried with a scorpion and an atlas. So I removed it from the maplist until fixing.
