I actually saw you do it. It may not have been that exact line but I saw it and I remember telling him that at that point I wasn't going to ban for it.

Asa if you knew this was bothersing someone why did you let it get to this point ? Why did you not say something? Maybe you all should try Pming someone if something bothers them.Seems like the right thing to do myself.Michie

Aza asked for input on this ban. So here is my thoughts.

As an american. I can say without a doubt like previously stated, the phrase "wetback" is racist. Plain and simple no more debating about it(period)

Along with this a name of "smelly mexican" thats just plain and simple name calling at a specific race.

I approve of this ban.


PS: Thanks admins for keeping the server clean and judging as fairly as possible.

An interesting thing of note, is that I too am from Michigan, where there is a fairly large amount of seasonal immigrants from Mexico near where I live, a heavily agricultural area, and I've never really seen the term in question regarded as anything but a joke with little to no maliciousness behind it.

I'm not condoning the use of the word, mind you, but its an observation I find interesting.

Well kinda the same thought here as well.We use it as a joke not to be meant in other way.Its no biggy really.I made my point i guess.I dont agree with the Ban but i know Most are from other Countries and dont understand everything from everywhere.Being that said all good.See all ya a few days , Michie
