UT2k3 & UT2k4 have very childish intros. They look disappointing... I mean, I would never buy the game after such an intro.
UT99 is far better in many senses than the UT2k3/4, I mean from aesthetic to conceptual. Anyway we have developed around UT2k4 because of the network multiplayer interface, it was not so developed for UT99 as it is in UT2k4.
My preference as game:
1) UT99
2) UT2k4
3) UT3
My preference as online game:
1) UT2k4
2) UT3
3) UT99
I wish I can set UT4 as first one.
BTW I have them all.

Tried latest build. Still looks crap, and performance is still dire. Hittests clearly inaccurate. Interface looks designed by teenage interns.
May try again in 2016.

ive watched a few twitch streams of it and all I see is UT3 with no maps and even less mobility
