Are you implying that allowing small maps with a lot of players and the resulting hipfire would not be loved?

Small maps would be ideal since LDG will have 5 players left soon.

I really just don't get it... how would having a larger selection of maps be detrimental? :roll: Everyone that prefers less choice, raise your hands... "crickets". How about trying this... add all maps, large and small, different variations, etc for awhile and see what happens.

I seriously doubt (what's left of) your user base will complain about having more choices, and it might even attract new users. I've never heard anyone complain about having too many choices, but they will definitely complain or just move on to other options when choices are severely limited, which I honestly think is part of your problem.

Half of the players seem to want to play the same 6 maps every night, and leave if they don't get them, while the other half are simply getting bored with all that.

At least weapon changes used to generate some interest, but the server is growing cobwebs now.

On the contrary I'd say stable balance will keep other players (but not back those that were lost due to it's instability).
