Re: [Split] TAM/AM discussion
I know that. I rather have the viewpoint like "don't fix what ain't broken". We cut the other gametypes down (like AS, ONS, VCTF) in the past (they were not played nearly at all -> getting broken, etc.).

Re: [Split] TAM/AM discussion
I think given the chance it would be played, perhaps not as much as freon (people don't like change) but there's enough of us who want it to make it worthwhile.
Not to mention most of the people voting for yes in the poll are donators, so all those donator votes should get some nice TAM games going

It's actually 3 : 4 when it comes to donators (Aza, iRobot, Butcher vs Izumo, Eify, Gizmo, Pinky)
Update: 4 : 5 now.

I can count the number of freon games you've played since January on one hand, and have enough fingers left to play Beethoven's 7th.
Which just makes it more surprising you're so in favor of Freon. Why, when you never play it?

No, I just find adding TAM as "not good idea" and using Freon for comparison.

cant u just run Tam as additional option to vote ? when ppl want to play it, it will be voted..or not
Or u need to remove sth, like tdm to add Tam?

Agree, let the people decide to TAM in the map voting.. as Deathmatch or team DeathmatchCapaco wrote:cant u just run Tam as additional option to vote ? when ppl want to play it, it will be voted..or not

Sure it would be that way. It's just that gametypes aren't enabled on the fly.

Re: [Split] TAM/AM discussion
Purely hypothetical, but if TAM exploded onto the scene and became popular, would you be so hesitant to remove Freon as you clearly are for adding TAM?

Re: [Split] TAM/AM discussion
If TAM overwhelmed Freon massively, then I'd remove Freon after porting the LDGGameBW stuff to TAM as well. Worst case scenario is 50 / 50 for TAM / Freon (with sharp attitude towards the other group ala AS / RACE).
