980Ti is a very high end card, it was probably overkill for what you wanted to do with it.

Why waste this amazing build by using Windows.

Here's how to build a Hackintosh (Mac OS X)

IMHO installing any Apple software is a waste of time.

Anyway, the PC is (almost) finished. Took me three hours in total to assemble everything (shitload of screws) and install Windows. It's in a raw state at the moment (not even hooked up to the internet once), I haven't done any stress-tests yet. But it runs properly for now. Can't wait to play some good games again.

Yes. Apple is crap.
Show me a laptop that has the build quality, robustness and innovation that a MacBook Pro has.

Windows Laptops can't even compete with a MacBook's trackpad let alone anything else.

MacBook isn't anything special, it's just for bunch of noobs who think Apple is some kind of fashion.

Now before this thread falls victim to another derailing attempt, I'd like to give closure on this as it is no longer "soon-to-be".

PC runs fine so far, can play games properly on Windows 10 (yeah, made the leap and skipped Windows 7). Except for UT2004, all it does is giving me the "CD key is invalid" error despite having tried multiple fixing methods (mouse lag thing, 64 bit, deleting inis, re-installing), but whatever.

Thanks for your support on picking the right hardware, though I had to make some price-adjustments. See you.

I don't think the "cd key invalid" error has anything to do with Windows 10.

You installed the original game or downloaded pirate version and added your old CD key?
