Actually I'd try putting the skill system back on next week. I'm quite doubtful that given it exists for more than a year there would be a population drop all of sudden right now.
If anything caused that, I'd bet it's going to be one of the recent changes.

Izumo do you collect any other information besides kills, deaths, and thaws?
Like kills with each weapon, amount of kills aimed/unaimed, killstreaks used/donated?

We collect everything. Chat messages, your movement in map, when you shoot your weapon, how you move, when you aim, when you fire from hip, how much your .ini files changes, records of your microphone when you are playing if you have one ... all kinds of imformation you can imagine

means he is trolling reload... He cannot possibly record those info else the skill system will be flawless... and you would need a huge logging system.
Actually the [Actuator] Weapon (aimed) (Headshot) (hip) (spam) [victim] phrase could be logged to obtain valuable statistic info about weapons and balance, but unfortunately is not done.
