Which ones are pressing?

As for my own absence, I've been coding for another project, which has rendered me unable to spare any time to play or develop here.

Don't forget people get a life too (maybe some people who had the habit to play get something new: job which required more time than before, baby,... ~> who knows ?).

For me, I don't have so much free time than before (study, more activities which required more time,..) and the good weather starts to come back here so...

Anyway the ideas about reducing perma ban to X days and giving advice in the MOTD (or even a video but not sure they'll have time to watch it and I'm pretty sure a video which explains the mechanics exist on the web) would be nice.

I remember a thread which explains each weapon (firemode, effects,..), I don't know if it's still exist. If so, maybe putting the URL into the MOTD will be a benefit ?

Oh and maybe reduce the A.I. from Aberiu'skins ? Because most of the time, they got a pretty aim (which can make new players frustrated).

And one last thing (because I see many players complaining about it): you can't let a game as BW without an evolution/nerf of each weapon or players'll bored and leave. IMO, it's like a MMORPG. Remember how many players used everytime the same weapon (don't know... LongHorn for example ?) and now, they use something else. It's impossible have a perfect balance in any case (I'm sure Aza know that and he tries his best) but at least, it gives a fresh air IMO. But this can't be done without any issue: players don't like when you break their habit (and that's the case for every games that I played/saw).

One important thing which has been highlighted (don't remember who, sorry :<) was the number of file which you need to DL the first time you join. I have a decent connection most of the time (around 30-40 ping on Wi-Fi, not so bad IMO) but for the others who don't have a good connection..

Must be July :)
The rest of them are pretty average (Rocket is below average as far as I remember).

This imo is the fundamental reason for the decline.

This server worked because it was constantly evolving and changing. That system suited us all very well when I was almost always available, but with me currently attending to another commitment, this server is stagnating. I do plan to do something about that, but I have to finish what I'm doing elsewhere before I can seriously commit to it.

What about "Weapon of the week", for a week one weapon is slightly buffed compared to the normal balance. (mildly, not to strong that overpowers all other weapons) Then encourage trying such weapon for some days, after some days back to normal.

Also It might be useful to use the BWstat screenshot for the initial screenshot, showing the actual technical characteristics of the weapons in the beginning. That information may encourage some other weapons use.

If you can do most part of the job yourself then you might have better chances with your suggestions. Just saying.

"bwstats" in the console. Guaranteed correct since they're constructed from the in-game data.
