Re: Music thread
A beautiful Trance song:
And something different:
And something different:
Its all about the game, and how you play it
All about control, and if you can take it
All about your debt, and if you can payit
Its all about pain and whos gonna make it...
All about control, and if you can take it
All about your debt, and if you can payit
Its all about pain and whos gonna make it...

Re: Music thread
That Ufajr stuff is pretty good and versatile, other two are some indie-core, not really my thing.
Lets paste some non-metal releases I have loved this year (2013 releases). Maybe someone will dig it.
1) New Wardruna. Phenomenal album imo, much darker than their debut.
2) New Nils Frahm. A hit or a miss, but this song is out of this world.
3) London Grammar. Infectious as f***, great female vocals.
4) Soap&Skin. Loved everything she previously released, nothing different with hers new single/EP.
+ Olafur Arnalds, Ludovico Einaudi, Sigur Ros (best band in existence) etc.

Re: Music thread
Hehe, are you kidding me, of course I did, multiple times. This is from Heima right? My favorite band of all dem times, completely changed my perspective on music, before discovering them I didn't care for anything else than metal, and now I love (not all of it of course) post-rock, ambient, dark jazz, some electronic, drone, contemporary classical, folk etc.
I saw them live last year on their Valtari tour and it was the best thing I have witnessed in my life. Completely catharsis experience. I would probably shed a tear or two but some annoying teenagers behind me were bothering the shit out of me, talking all the time, so they ruined the whole thing a bit, but it was still gorgeous. The ending with Popplagid (the last 6 minutes you know, that crescendo) was mind blowing.
I didn't like their new one (Kveikur) as much as their other albums, but it is still a great release. A little bummed out that Kjartan left, he was a big part of their sound.
Anyway, glad that I found someone here who appreciate their genius
I will edit this post with this gem, probably the best buildup/release ever written. Devastating.
