Its armed race, but you removed the weaponlockers for combat on foot.
Which shows a major flaw in the MultifireScorpion: EMP a guy in front of you then drive closer to destroy the sitting duck with quantum blasts and since the guy who got EMPed has no weapons for combat on foot he cant do shit.

This is why the playable version of the Venom doesn't have an EMP. While EMP is absolutely rageworthy already due to repeat slowdown boredom, EMP in a weaponised environment results in the most unskilled bollocks ever. Shoot scorp with unmissable weapon and then trash a sitting duck. That's effectively Instagib / twin beam shit.
