Its a 30 day ban. It was not reduced.
You will be unbanned after the 30 days are up. (July 8th, 2014)

I think we need an offence of deliberately lying in Ban Appeals. I don't believe his post to be a mistake.

Or you could just start putting expiry dates in the ban topics

I got ban at June 8 for 7 days
June 8 for 7 days
7 days
The date of expiry is only added for bans which are made on pirates, as they must be manually lifted. Other bans will expire at the correct time automatically. It's also irrelevant to this case, because he posted that he was banned for 7 days, but it clearly says 30 in the title and in Socio's last post, which any gibbon could realise from reading the thread. He is only posting to try to blag his way to an early lift.

If the expiry date was clear for all bans you'd have grounds to imply he is lying but it's easy to get confused, especially with the new ban system.
I could cite numerous topics in the last few months where ban end dates have been confused. In actuality the ban appeal topic is riddled with them.

The end date isn't the issue. The fact that he's getting 7 days from a topic titled 30 days with a last post of 30 days is.

Easy to quickly glance at that and be confused, or simply miss the 30 day note.
