i meant i took mine UT port from tracker. my CD key is from win legal CD.
i am trying to find 2nd box with game. i am sure, i had 2 of them.

i wonder if steam version is packed with CD key... its only 5 euro.

Obviously it is.

You can buy a legit one on GOG for 4€, even less if you wait a few days because they have new deals every hour.

Also you can get Mount & Blade for free

No CD Key with steam, it's checked.

Just bought the steam version, cant access the CD key without installing the game, what is obviously impossible under mac osx. I contacted the steam support so they provide me the key I bought but I doubt they will. I'm doomed...

If I buy a windows version off ebay etc, can I use that CD key in mac?

And can I change the CD key once the game is installed? As on my Mac I don't ever remember entering a CD key or giving me the option to enter one.

I've googled it and found this in 10sec:

the cd-key is located here: Unreal Tournament 2004.app/System/cd-key . Open it up with textedit.

Which means you don't even have to download the game again, you should be able to switch your current key with a new one.
