Don't touch the HMC, it's fine as it is, and that's that. The only change it needs is a different 3D model, nothing else. The charge beam deals good damage that isn't unfair compared to other weapons. The force beams can be used on any map, just using it to push players off a map is silly. I oppose any changes to HMC that would fuck up its balance in some way, I hate it when weapons with a great concept of play become luck-machines that take no effort to kill somebody.

Honestly tell me why anyone would take HMC when the healing is outclassed by defibs, which use a lesser weapon slot. Defibs offer burst healing which will heal someone faster from 1->175 than HMC can and ever will.

The damage is unreliable, if you miss, you need to change weapon as you aren't going to be able to charge it in time. The alt fires are just a minor annoyance to people, they'll still be spamming their MARS-3 at you despite being knocked around a little.

All the while if you compare to a defibs user, they still have TWO main weapon slots for weapons of choice.

To defend HMC for being fine is just laughable, and no offense Kirby but I have never seen you using HMC. Neither have I seen anyone on the server using it as of late except for one die hard fan (pupimassa).

I was under the impression weapons were balanced to be usable. Basically HMC doesn't see usage anymore, along with Nova Staff, which also needs a look at.

Either, the healing needs to be doubled, if not tripled, or the gitting protection needs to be removed. This weapon needs something to justify a slot, it currently has nothing.

The HMC heals above the standard HP cap and thaws at range.

Arguably useless features. In a 22 player environment, thawing at range is rarely, if ever, viable, compounded by map scaling. The health cap is irrelevant with current DPS levels.

Yeah, it was reverted a few hours later because the 6-0s shot through the roof. Being able to use the HMC to overheal your team can shift the balance of the game.

Starting with that HP, okay I'll give you that. Having to heal your team manually with HMC that has limited charge on moving targets who don't care for the healing, ain't happening bro.

Work on actuals, not theoreticals.
