How about a BW server with perfect balance. It could be differentiated from the other BW server by prefixing the maps "CoD"

CoD-Highlander[Day] for example.

I'd play Ictf or even better Ivctf, and what Izumooo said was right, speed (primarily) & invisible are the only worthwhile combos on Ictf/ivctf

I have some ivctf maps & It would make a good change from the Race/Freon/Assault type of play. It would certainly add some variety if nothing else. It would bring a whole spectrum of game types under the LDG banner and certainly with Instagib, your timing & tactics are different and it helps some of us 'less able' players to compete better too.

I remember digiex used to get popular when it was running almost exclusively IVCTF a few years ago. It is a popular game type

digiex was cool server until it became laggy as hell, now most popular VCTF server is Rembo i think, with iVCTF there wont be any concurence to LDG and i also got few VCTF maps.

If I recall correctly Rembo was full of cheaters & aimbots/assholes, though it's been a good while since I've been there. Digiex suffered dreadfully from lag as it was a shared box, though the players/staff were great.

umm havnet played much on Rembo tho my friend was kicked when he berserk/shieldjumped and captured flag (hes really good in trials) xD

It's a thread for ideas. I proposed one.

iCTF sounds appealing. I'm scared of BW, so it would be nice to have a trusted environment to play something a little different for a change.

Instagib vctf that would be interesting.. Especially if you got nitro vehicles as well. This might be enough to bring players into a gametype that is known but gives ldg server a little something extra to the table that would be original to only ldg.
