Or a week where KS1,2,3 are all fixed to be "Donate" only, so the weaker players get a chance of some fun.iRobot wrote:Can we have a week without KS weapons in the pool and see what the feedback is like?

Re: Discussion - The Killstreak System
The point is to remove these 'game changing' weapons from the server entirely, just for a trial period, to judge feedback. Giving them to different people does nothing to help that.iRobot wrote:Can we have a week without KS weapons in the pool and see what the feedback is like?

Since this was posted at 3am, by tomorrow do you mean today? (Wednesday)?

I believe this is the best that had happened in a while.... probably KS1 is not so bad.... but KS2 and KS3 are ridiculous...Azarael wrote:Killstreaks have been disabled for tomorrow.
Is possible people could enjoy more with only KS1 because it gives a small advantage to the ones that earn it, but not exaggerated... The problem is that it becomes unplayable once the skilled players obtain a KS2 and KS3. Is not common that someone can counter their power with the normal weapons.
What about KS1 when you get your 4 kills also with the donation possibility, and KS1 donations when KS2 & 2 donations when KS3 is achieved... such that the lower skill team member receives a KS1 too. I don't think many will be able to achieve a KS3 without a KS2 or KS3 weapon.

So where is the problem with 30s time limit on KS2 & KS3?

KS2 and 3 can end the round quicker than that. That's how powerful they are.

Re: Discussion - The Killstreak System
well, with the painter you need only 30s to kill all the other team, also the LAW mine... Actually these 2 should be KS3 level, they are even better than the Plasma Cannon. So I suppose in a game of 3 min, the 30 secs is a lot with such a weapon..Izumo_CZ wrote:So where is the problem with 30s time limit on KS2 & KS3?

Sure Aza needs more time to iron out the new weapons in terms of balance.

Re: Discussion - The Killstreak System
Disabling them outright is extreme, and I'm not arguing it be permanent. I'm just wondering on what the opinions will be without them affecting the game.
Will the QQ stop or will it just be shifted elsewhere?
