clearly you've never played ivctf then - the vehicles aren't all dominating, they just add an edge, you can still go on foot and succeed too.

Doubtful, that SSR isn't going to help you much against a hellbender with skymines.

IMO, just ictf should be added first and ivctf should be worked on for a later date. Ictf is good atm with utcomp. Its not worth adding ivctf without any balance due to many rages

Skymines would be balanced with active limit 3 skymines and slower fire rate. That goes for all gametypes IMO, controlled skymining is more effective anyway and it's what I do.

Oh yeah, a kind of burst fire may be interesting. I'm not sure about slowing it down though.

Traditional Ivctf has been around for years, with hellbenders (standard) and no ones cries about what they can do, I'm not aware of any nerf on the standard vehicles needed. Obviously for vCTF careful map selection is important, but it's a non issue. Does no one here actually play/have played Ivctf before?

You do know that both sides generally get the same vehicles don't you? it's not Man Vs Machine depending on what side you're on.

Speaking as someone who's played it over at least 6 years, you just know the ranges of what vehicles can do and adjust your strategy accordingly.

Standard UT ivctf is a lot of fun for everyone, not just elite shooters, and with people like Aza giving thought to LDG styled stuff, I dont see any reason why LDG vehicles couldn't work either

I assume we're speaking from experience in multiple gametypes when we comment on Skymines. Skymines make for easymode kills.
