Away from keyboarders are still a problem on the server. Any suggestions ?




I took the screen to late actually there where three of them.

Change AFK detection method:

Thats why i got kicked yesterday for 5 minutes of spec idling ?

Weird....ingame you can be afk the whole round and nothing happens and in spec you get kicked

Freon's inbuilt defense against afking is to boot players who get punished for camp 4 times in a row, but we have that disabled.

For a particular reason ?

Because you'd get kicked only after cca 30s of idling. (normally it's 2 - 3 min).

Aren´t 30 sec enough for a active player ?

Or do you see a problem if someone has to download a map ?

No that is checked by your ping being 1020 (if you're still dlding, loading etc.). However we usually idlekick after 2 - 3 mins, 30 secs is too short. However it's true that the inbuilt idlekick is bypassabe by putting smth on your keyboard.

I may overact a little but in my case i go spec if i have something important to do or i post s short "afk" if i know im back in a minute or two.
Let´s say my minute takes three and then i get kicked cause i was not sitting 17 minutes (look at above screen) in front of my monitor pushing buttons ?

Sorry but such a bold behaviour needs at least a warning....

On #3 idlekick is set to 4 minutes right now. But as I said if you put smth on your keyboard etc. it will bypass it. Same as in spec - if you spectate someone you won't get idlekicked.
