Hey, I had some really fun games under the name [UK]Olly on my laptop earlier on this evening as my first time using the LDG #3 Ballistic Weapons server, and went to play on my desktop (my preferred pc) just a minute ago, to find that my desktop's IP address has been server-banned. This is only true for my desktop, as my laptop can still connect fine.

As in the topic title, my public IP is 139.184.30.133, and I've never even tried to connect to the server before on this pc. Maybe the ban could be due to my using a shared internet connection through my University's internet?

Anyway, if somebody could give me a heads-up explaining the nature of the ban (if there is a record of it) and/or if there is anything I could do to get onto the server, like an exemption from the ban for my unique ID, if that's possible, that would be great.

If I remember correctly, this ban was placed as the player was being abusive, but as you don't seem to be the player in question I will offer benefit of the doubt and lift the ban on this GUID.

How come Warez guid is banned?

I don't know if it's a warez GUID or not.

EDIT: Google says it is. At the time of placing that ban, I didn't know it was a warez GUID.

To clarify, we don't ban warez GUIDs on these servers.

Oh yeah, there's me forgetting that this wasn't my genuine copy of UT. Who knew.
