Pirate Free Weekend

So everybody knows that I have a quirky grudge against pirates :ugeek: and that some people have been suggesting a pirate free week.
ATM I am making pirate swords and pirate hats, using Maya and failing. How often should a pirate free week occur? Every beginning of a new season? Every last week of the month? Every first week of the month? Ideas and suggestions appreciated.

Failing at making pirate hat? Try this one I've made recently:

It's a simple tricorn pirate hat. Because I suck at making textures, I've included the UVW template. Oh, and it comes in 2 formats: OBJ with material lib (this format should read almost any modeling program) and 3DS. In the UVW template is a credits place where you can put your name there. If you remove it completely, you are pirate!
