Like dust2k5 except jefe did his version of it. He opened up the buildings (like dust2k12) and also added some ambiance to it, removing the "yellow" feel to it.

I was browsing this forum and noticed this map on your media fire account. I'm just wondering why you changed the name from DM-Duststorm-DC to DM-DustStorm2k12? Both the original version and the "2k12" version are on your media fire account. I see no changes at all to the map, the saved date is the same as my version (back in 2009), the only differences are the file name and that the readme is not in the zip file.

I am totally fine with map edits (DustStorm-DC itself is my edit of someone else's edit) but I'm just curious. Why bother renaming it if you haven't changed anything at all?

It's not like he's taking credit for it, he mentioned my name in the first post. Just trying to figure out the point of the name change.

I don't remember. It was probably because the players on the server tended to vote maps they thought were recent, indicative by the "2k12."

Edit: I remember editing the map now (adding ammo pickups, aligning textures), I might've uploaded the wrong version.

... but you can open RACE-SunPyramid (or wherever the effect came from originally) add actual duststorm to the map

The modified version was further edited and renamed to DustStorm-DC2k13.

DustStorm-DC][ is the version on BW #1, which was modified by Vanico and cleaned up by me (tasteless "Jam sucks" in arabic-like lettering which adds to filesize).

DustStorm-INV is the one on the invasion server, or BW #2. It's an edit of the 2k13 version to accompany monster flow better.

Thanks. Do you have any details on the other changes? I didn't see much beside the BSP fix.

If I recall correctly, extra paths were added.
