Minecraft server join

I noticed LDG has a minecraft server now. But when i try to join it gives me this message. "internet exception: java.socketexceptrion: connection reset"
any idea what that means?

0. What is your id?
1. Make sure you are on version 1.3.1.
2. When was your last login attempt? Yesterday we had a map rendering going on. Thus the server was very slow and connection issues may have occured.
3. Tried reinstalling MC? (Don't forget to back up your texturepacks and savegames.
