Bug Report

Hi!
I found some glitches and i was asked to report them here instead of in-game.
The first one, happens when switching between two same-type weapons, m46 and m50, in loadout gametype. If you scroll down to select next weapon, it simply stucks switching between them instead of going to granades... This is annoying, i hope there is a way to fix it.
The second concerns granades throwing: if you throw granades with Bort Pistol, m46 or m50 seldom they are thrown to the right or left instead of being thrown ahead (according to the crosshair). I think that this happens while you are sprinting... Is this normal (wanted) or is it a bug?
The third glitch is about reload: suppose i have m46 and m50 (i write those because i use them in-game). I am shooting with m50, when i have few ammos i switch to m46 and then, after a while, i switch back to m50: now, if i press the reload button, it doesn't do it (i must shoot then reload). This means DEATH if you don't spot it.
Well, since i ended with bug reports, i would like to propose you a thing. We all know that there is a m353\m953 (or whatever the number is) spam problem. Why not to solve this? I see three ways of solving it:
1 - Grant them as prize for certain achievements (like killstreaks), for example for a multi-kill or a killing spree.
2 - Increase their recoil.
3 - Decrease their damage.
I would like to hear your ideas about this point.

I don't know what causes this.

When Sprint is active, the weapon is offset and will fire off-centre.

Never seen this before.

Statistically speaking both these weapons are nothing special when spammed from the hip so I've no idea why people are doing this. Machineguns are an entire class so moving them to killstreak rewards isn't really an option for me.

There is a definite issue with swapping weapons and reloading quickly/instantly. It'll often lock and force you to swap weapon back and forth to fix it.

Yes, the locking bug is a big one. I constantly see myself having to scroll to be able to make the weapon usable again. This happens after reloading is finished if that matters at all.

Two other bugs i noticed since few time:
1) Sometimes you respawn at the new round with the same hp you had at previous end of round + same for weapons...sometimes you have only the ammo you had at end of last round
Looks like enemy team have new round but you stay in previous one >.<
2) Sometimes when u stay frozen mates cant thaw you, and u dont thaw yourself... You stay frozen with 0% till end of round...
Doenst look like freon but rather like lastmanstanding) oO

Yes, i noticed this too... happened two or three times and everyone told me i was crazy when i complained about it in chat xD.
There is another bug i forgot to write about: an animation fail, i suppose that when you get killed and you are sprinting\dodging, your character, instead of stopping, keeps on moving. Teammates seems to not be affected by this bug.
Another thing: i don't know why, but seldom, when you are frozen, you can't go back to your body with the camera.
Those two bugs prevents you from checking what's next to where you died (like mines or enemies).
Anyway, Aza, the glitch affecting weapons of the same type is really annoying: if you set your weapons for a close-combat map, you may need two short range weapons like m46 and m50. Can't it be solved?
"short range" is relative, i mean you don't need a sniper rifle or a srs-900 for example
Well, i think that then you should be clear of what you mean for spamming... Now everyone started using Skyrith Blades, but i don't find it spam, since if you are good enough you can kill "Bladers" easily.

I don't know about what kind of 'glitch' you're talking about but I guess you mean the weapon's key binds. If you just bind a particular weapon class to a key and you have two weapons belonging to the same class, the weapon with the highest priority will always be chosen (this is also the case for the lightning gun and the classic sniper rifle in standard UT, for example). You can avoid this by not binding weapons classes but particular weapons to certain keys. You only need to know the weapon's individual names. Those can e.g. be found in the BW cache file of your UT system folder. Just bind "getweapon BWxxxxxxx.xxxxxx" to a key of your choosing.

Know of it but not the cause

As aforesaid I don't know what causes this. The slots are set up to hold weapons of the same class and function. M46 / M50 is not a balanced loadout.

Blade spam is a problem. Notice how it's only the Skrith blades, because they have the quickest fire rate? This will be adjusted and anyone who wants to bladerun 24/7 can go play Call of Duty.

Not sure if it constitutes a "bug"...but frozen people blocking doorways/corridors is very much an annoyance. Sometimes you even get stuck in a room and die to anti camp due to having no way out through no fault of your own.

Lol, my current loadout is m46, srs-900, bort pistol, healing granade and skyrith blades (yes i'm a 24/7 blader...)... I think it is well balanced for medium\tiny maps (i choose another setup if map is too big).

Well ok. I heard you can bind weapons or classes to a particular key, i would like to know how. This is the best solution for this "glitch".

Yes, they are overused, but how do you plan to fix them? slowing down their fire rate? Or increasing the damage taken by "Bladers"? For that reloading "non reloading" bug, is there any solution? Yesterday i got killed four times for it (my fault, of course).
Finally, don't you guys think that minigun should be made powerful and moved into killing streaks rewards?
