Holds 100 rounds instead of 150
Worthless

In other news, rather than melee being so front loaded and doing 220 dmg, could you not make it do something like 70 but have 3x the fire rate?

At least you could avoid it a little better rather than just being oneshot without any control.

Let's not beat around the bush here. Melee + Sprint is broken, considering you spawn with less than 220 hp then this is ridiculous.

Or perhaps rework melee entirely to again not be so front loaded, but apply a bleed on someone till the end of the round. 10/sec or something you feel apt.

Usual defence against front melee is to spam back with anything, which oftenly works.

In practice that is not the case.

Give an innate damage reduction to melee users, similar to how you have deployed turrets?

Melee users wont be so fragile then, and there will be no need to have the ridiculous damage.

Melee would actually be an option for a full game that way rather than the "free kill or two" as it is now.

That makes no sense and it will be abused. This is also the reason why you don't get an innate speed boost while holding melee; people will just use it as a mobility tool. Turrets were given damage reduction because before they were static emplacements with no actual defense boost, so didn't actually give any advantage when you consider how easy it is to hit a static target.

Given that none of us have seen how non-auto melee works out, let's hold the theorycrafting until we do?

Implying having to click over autofire will make a huge difference to anyone with multiple brain cells.

Implying you don't theorycraft.

Implying theorycraft is valid in light of such a change.
