Nobody uses shotguns from the sights. Nobody. It's a CC weapon, if you piss about with sights during CC you will die.

Please also advise of any recent changes/fixes to the riot shield. It feels like it offers no protection now. Considering full time switch to volt mitts.

Still waiting for the smoke grenade buffs.

The M763 gains the ability to be used as a stronger midrange rifle in exchange for wider hip and lower DPS than other shotguns. If it doesn't work for you, don't use it.

Riot shield damage taken is 20% of base damage plus 80% of antivehicle damage.

Can we have the movement penalty removed, given the directional only protection?

It's like a double whammy.

Ranking

- ability to exclude yourself from ranking from the current match, for whatever reason you want (tired, wanting to try other guns, etc.)

The following requirements must be met:
1) Your skill must be at least 5.00. If you have skill between 5.00 - 6.00 then you may exclude yourself from ranking for one match / day. If you have skill at least 6.00, then you may do so twice / day (this will be reset @ 8 AM)
2) You have 0 kills and 0 deaths.
3) It's not peak hours (19:00 - 23:59)

To exclude yourself from the ranking from the current match, type "EFR" or "ExcludeFromRanking" to console (will be acknowledged or denied). Admins can use "AdminEFR" or "AdminExcludeFromRanking" when logged in and are only bound by condition 2).

Killing unranked player will not increase your kills just as being killed by unranked player will not increase your deaths. On UTComp scoreboard, unranked player will show "OUT" under skill.
Oh no, the other team has iRobot / Gizmo / Appchiken

That's why it's limited. Also, you can RAGESPEC coz of that.

You were explicitly discussed as a likely cause of EFR usage.

It also has implications more widespread. Someone who is not being ranked shooting you to low HP, and then getting killed by someone with ranking enabled. Simply interfering in anyway.

Kinda like the offside rule, currently if an offside player take no involvement in play, the goal would stand. If they become active, and contribute in any way, it's flagged offside.

The easiest fix for that is to move Skill onto Damage Done / Damage Received. Also benefits healers. However, please note that I do not expect that to happen - I am merely pointing it out.
