Ballistic Pro Ladder
Top players now can be seen in phgstats (http://www.ldg-gaming.eu/phgstats/index.php) on the URL: http://www.ldg-gaming.eu/phgstats/index ... Players=bw
Press on the column header to sort it. Thaw points are recalcuated to kills.
The player rating works based on your "kills + thaw points : deaths" ratio and then it's weighted based of the amount data you have collected. The weighting works as follows. Calculate your kills + thaw points + deaths and then based on the following table x % of your "kills + thaw points : deaths" ratio is used and the rest (100 - x) % is used from average skill:
0 -> 00.0 %
250 -> 20.0 %
500 -> 50.0 %
750 -> 69.2 %
1000 -> 80.0 %
1250 -> 86.2 %
1500 -> 90.0 %
1750 -> 92.5 %
2000 -> 94.1 %
2250 -> 95.2 %
2500 -> 96.2 %
2750 -> 96.8 %
3000 -> 97.3 %
4000 -> 98.7 %
5000 -> 99.1 %
6000 -> 99.3 %
7000 -> 99.5 %
8000 -> 99.6 %
9000 -> 99.7 %
10000 -> 99.8 %
Example: if you have kills + thaw points + deaths = 500, then 50 % of your "raw" skill is used and 50 % of the average server skill is used. On kills + thaw points + deaths = 100, 80 % of your "raw" skill is used and 20 % of the average server skill is used.
Greatest progression is on 50%. Please note that the actual percentages might change over time.

Re: Ballistic Pro Ladder
Congrats to Azareal for having the lowest thaw points in the top 20.
What a fucking selfish player, theres no I in TEAM etc etc etc.
I'm disgusted.
Too busy camping with that deployed minigun I guess.

Even though it's right that Aza is frm type of player, this time it's rather because he has lower amount of games (his "raw" skill is 7.49). As for thawing, the only thing that needs fixing is points for being thawn by defibs / HMC; I would consider 5 thawn players = 1 kill ratio as fine.

10.0 is theoretical maximum for "infinite kills, 0 deaths". You have 8.42 weighted at 95.4 %.

Re: Ballistic Pro Ladder
The average pulling me down
Why does it even factor in the average at 1000+ kills?
One does not simply get 1000 kills in an hour.
I can understand for low kills, to stop people going 2 kills 0 deaths and getting 9.9 skill, though.

Re: Ballistic Pro Ladder
Umm, I don't think there really should be a "hard limit" after which weighting gives you 100%, over certain value it will be rather smoothing the value than having a significant impact (in your case right now, the difference is 0.14).
Also, arranging the ladder by deaths:
7. enemy-spec*Calypto 1147 1048 127.99 5.45

Re: Ballistic Pro Ladder
Is there any way to see weapon usage stats? I think it'd be interesting to see how weapons are used.
