Has something happened with resurrecting players, when I do it now, my health goes down rapidly??? Isn't the cost Adrenaline, why are we being penalised health too?

Just to add, It just cost me something like 150+ health AND 100 Adren???

If this is the norm, thats really badly out of balance, and either adren cost needs to be less or the health loss (though I don't understand why there's a health loss at all) are you trying to stop people from ressing dead players?

Caly, could you explain again, what you already said in game, what is causing these crashes. Something about SSD cache and how to lower its value.

  • Go to your UT2004 System folder (It should be C:\UT2004\System by default)
  • Open a file called UT2004.ini with Notepad
  • Scroll down to

    Code: Select all

    [Engine.GameEngine]
    CacheSizeMegs=32
    (It's at about line 84, it's not that much to scroll)
  • By default, this value is set to 32, as it is with mine. If it is set to something higher than this and you are crashing, change it to 32 and see if this helps.
Let me know if this fixes the crashing, this is what BoB was saying in his post earlier.

I still have the same crashes after all the changes (usually when I change weapon during wave start, but rarely in other cases also). Maybe not so much as earlier. Cache size entry in ini doesn't matter. I had 32 by default and Invasion crashed frequently. Changed to 256 - no difference.

And "Cyprus" case was executed on our stats, what is not very pleasant.

I found my game crashed even more with higher memory cache :(

No probems here with BallisticProAnim.

However, I got a size mismatch for BWCoreV25 on VehiclesOldDutch - solved it by manually switching to a different map...
