Unreal editor sliding surfaces

Working on finishing up a trial map I made years ago and have come across an error or problem..

When I play the map via in editor or just loading it in game some of the surfaces that I walk on I (the player in game) start to drift like as if I'm on ice.

Not sure whats causing this. Think it happened to me once before but forgot how I fixed it.

Any help would be great!!
If you want the map that its happening on your more then free to download the beta to see it for yourself.

I have tried copying all items into a new map, adding a physics volume around the whole map, and removing all mutator actors in the map.

None have changed anything.. Its like the ground friction has been messed with it only happens on my map doesn't happen on any others that i play through editor.

Surely some map maker here can try and assist me. Still waiting to get verified on epic forums planing on post there to.

I sometimes had the same issue when I test-played my maps that were a rough work in progress, with time as the building progressed the issue disappeared. So I have no idea ._.

yah not sure either. I did come up with one fix. place a physics volume around the whole map and change the ground friction to 10 instead of default 8. It seems to work in most areas where i was sliding however on my last obj its still sliding like a mad man..

I'll probably just continue making the other objectives and see if it corrects its self over time if not i will just remake the areas that are having problems.

Does the sliding appear permanently or is there an interval in which it appears.
I created some maps an usually (playing offline via editor) the ground was slippery ca. every 5 seconds for 2 seconds.

Jumping also wouldn't work every time.

Its constant when your in an area that is effected. Also im encountering the jumping being broken on the last obj area as well its like you jump and all momentum is completely random you sometimes just jump forward and drop like a rock/stop motion randomly/or just fly side ways randomly.

This occurs when playing offline for me also and I assume it is a flaw in the game.

Apparently that is the case the moment I configured the correct settings to run it as a LAN server it fixed its self(thought I had already did that but i guess i didn't). Thanks for the help! Some reason I was just not able to figure this one out. I'll post my finished map here for those who may just want something different to play for a rainy day.
