I keep getting this critical error while i try to enter server1.
Any idea why

Did you clear your cache? If that didn't work, I suggest deleting UT2004.ini and User.ini if no other advice pops up.

I would recommend same due to not having any more information. Could you possible load up your ut2004.log file. It might lead us in the right direction. Other then that just move your ut2004.ini and user.ini to the a safe place outside of the ut2004 directory and see if factory settings let you into the server.
