A Hamish plea...

Good evening/morning.

As my other thread was hijacked inadvertently due to ongoing discussions on morality and how far political correctness can go, I have been advised by another Admin to start a new ban appeal thread. As Aza has stated, there has been some discussion as to whether some offences which are not extremely repulsive, such as Nazism, Racism, holocaust denial etc, I ask Eiforia if she could kindly mute me instead of banning me.

In my defence I think I'm quite a good player who adds quality, teamwork and leadership to the game. Other than my comments made in chat I'm not a trolling player/teamkiller etc I genuinely get on with the game and play fair, don't teamkill and actually try to make the game playable by switching teams to make sure everyone is having fun.

I humbly request that my ban be converted to a chat mute. I think I have learnt that I sometimes go too far but I'm quite a nice chap once you get to know me,

Regards,

Lt Hamish - 2PARA.

Also, if I hadn't made this clear before, I would also like to take this opportunity to apologise to Eiforia for my actions which were simply not acceptable and downright disgusting.

I agree with Aza here. That it's possible not to ban people but just mute them.

But i think that only giZmo can delete ban because afaik we talked about it already that only admin who adds ban should delete it.

No, giZmo jumped in on his own when he really shouldn't. The decision is yours.

I changed team after as Xalex said I would be banned? Now I get banned for listening to people as I saw the game was unevenly stacked when I rejoined as I finished the map pretty much single handedly.

I see a pretty textbook teambalancer abuse there and a later switch to attack twice.

Why would I abuse team balancer? I think it's fair to say in assault/race at least I'm a fairly capable player.

I changed teams to help the attacking team.

Read the log wrongly. Lifting on benefit of doubt for the second part of the offense (switching to attack twice).
